International Choral Composers Institute
Description:
The International Choral Composers Institute (ICCI) is a 5-day immersive program dedicated to nurturing & instructing choral composers and lyricists of all levels while connecting them with real-world editors and publishers.
This institute will be in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Levine Conference Center from July 14-18, 2025. Classes will be during the day from 9-5 (EDT), and evenings will be reserved for composing, socializing/collaborating with other composers, and dining. A virtual option is also being offered.
The free, final concert including select music by participants and our headlining composers-in-residence will take place on Friday, July 18 at 7:00 p.m. (EDT) Transportation to this venue will be provided by ICCI.

With the current, rapid growth in our area, there comes the opportunity for the choral arts to grow In Tandem. In order to accommodate that growth and expand on that opportunity, there is a need for communication and collaboration between the choral arts members and ensembles to be refined and celebrated.
Our platform seeks to assist in this by connecting ensembles, sharing concerts, events, and audition dates, and providing informational resources, ensuring a thriving choral scene in the Greater Charlotte area for all.
