We are excited to kick off 2026 with our 2nd Annual Fundraiser Gala, Moonlight & Roses, on Friday, February 20th at Twin Mills Club event center in Trilogy. This elegant evening "black tie" gala will include a delicious dinner, live entertainment by the East Lincoln Chamber Singers, live and silent auctions along with an exciting DJ Brian to spin the tunes for you to hear and to dance the night away.

Founded in 2006, Palmetto Voices brings together gifted singers from across the Southeast who share a deep commitment to African American spirituals, gospel, and sacred music born from a history of struggle, faith, resilience, and hope. These songs—once passed down orally and sung in worship, work, and community—continue to speak across generations with timeless power and truth.

Under the artistic leadership of Dr. Sonja Sepúlveda, the ensemble blends musical excellence with heartfelt expression, honoring the historical roots of the spiritual while presenting it with vibrancy and life. Description:

Come sing with us! The Queen Charlotte Chorus is looking for women of all ages who love to sing. We rehearse every Tuesday evening from 6:30 - 9:00pm. All of our rehearsals are open to visitors. No music training is required - you just need to be able to carry a tune! We perform for the public regularly and compete in a five-state region every spring as part of Sweet Adelines International.

Over 30,000 women all over the world have discovered the joy of a cappella singing through Sweet Adelines. You may choose to audition after four visits. The audition song is from our current repertoire, so you will already have one song under your belt! Our members hail from all over the Charlotte region - some of us drive over an hour to get to rehearsal each week! We are educators, business professionals, medical personnel, accountants, moms; all sisters because we share a passion for singing and performing.

The conference will take place at Queens University of Charlotte and is open to ALL ACDA members. This Event boasts a number of awe-inspiring performances, learning experiences for those looking to grow their skill as directors and / or choral musicians, and unique opportunities for choir students to collaborate and perform together. so what are you waiting for? register today!

The conference Includes:
- Performances by auditioned ensembles from throughout the state, bringing high quality music making and repertoire to life for all who wish to hear.
- interest / Professional Development Sessions for choral directors and educators alike looking to gain new ideas and insights to bring back to their own choir rooms.
- Lab Choir Open to all conference attendees to Learn and make music together with our clinician and local gospel choir.
- NC Sings! Where students 4th grade and up can join with other students from across NC to learn and make music together under amazing guest clinicians.
- Collegiate Festival Chorus where college students can combine together, under a fabulous guest clinician, and use their singing skills and musical abilities to put on an incredible performance for conference goers and audience members.
- Conducting Masterclass where Attendees can listen and observe as the year's chosen applicants Lead the Showcased choir while Working with a clinician and conductor of renown to grow their conducting skills and abilities.

The North Carolina Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association (NC ACDA) invites collegiate conductors to select students to participate in the third annual Collegiate Festival Chorus. The 2025 clinician is Dr. Frances Fonza from Southeastern Louisiana University.

NC Sings!

The North Carolina Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association (NC ACDA) invites North Carolina conductors to bring singers to participate the 2025 NC Sings! event, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in conjunction with the Fall NC ACDA state conference on the campus of Queens University in Charlotte.

NC Sings! is an annual one day choral festival for singers where all of the music is learned on site. That's right, no extra rehearsals ahead of time to teach the notes. School, church, and community choir conductors select and register motivated singers, and the master conductors do the rest. The choirs will begin rehearsals at 8:30 am, and present a concert at 4:00 pm. All rehearsals and the performance will take place on the campus of Queens University.

Date: Saturday, October 11th

Registration Cost: $40 / singer
Registration Deadline: Friday, September 12th
